ICISF -
International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc

We are excited to announce our strategic partnership with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). ICISF is dedicated to providing resources and tools to support those affected by critical incidents, with a focus on helping individuals return to normal functioning through Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and other services. Critical incident stress can impact anyone, in any environment, and the emotional, physical, and spiritual trauma can last long after the event. If left unaddressed, these effects can disrupt families and communities. Unfortunately, many individuals are inadequately trained to cope with or provide the necessary support after a critical incident.

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) is a method designed to help first responders and others affected by critical incidents. CISM is a peer-driven process that prepares individuals to address emotional or physical challenges before, during, and after an event, helping them continue to perform their duties or return to a normal life.

The International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that offers training and resources for those interested in joining a crisis management team or supporting recovery efforts. Their mission is to be the global leader in providing education, training, consultation, and support services for comprehensive crisis intervention and disaster behavioral health services to emergency responders, other professions, organizations, and communities worldwide. For more information, please visit the website: https://icisf.org
